ock Canyon. Located about 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, the scenic loop is the perfect way to visit the famed Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area in Nevada.

During high season (October 1 – May 31), you can get into Red Rock Canyon without a reservation before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Between June 1 and September 30th, reservations are not required.

Despite a historic ranch house, seasonal yoga classes, a summer theater program and hiking trails we believe visiting Spring Mountain Ranch is a waste of time.

Located near the scenic loop of Red Rock Canyon, Wilson’s Pimple loop trail is a 4.57 mile round trip hike located outside the fee area. The trail boasts large red sandstone mountains, a seasonal creek and the chance of wildlife sightings.

First Creek Canyon trail is an enjoyable trek across the desert towards towering red and white sandstone rock formations. In the wet season, hikers can enjoy a hidden waterfall just off the trail.

White Rock Mountain loop is a 6.2 mile trek through beautiful red and white mountains in the La Madre Wilderness and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Just over 3 miles, Guardian Angel Pass is a fun scramble hike with beautiful views located in Red Rock Canyon near Vegas.

Clocking in at 2.2 miles, the Ice Box Canon Trail is located in Red Rock Canyon outside the famed Las Vegas strip.

Step back in time to experience the geological wonder of the Keystone Thrust Trail in the heart of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

It takes around 30 minutes to go through Red Rock Canyon, but most visitors spend two to three hours in the park.
